Because we are only borrowing the resources of our planet from future generations, we think that it is important to minimise the impact of our activities on the environment.
Based on this observation, GERAL UNIT 2 has produced its electronic boards by an RoHS process (without lead) since 2007 and is recognised as a Level 3 Expert in this field by its peers within the SNESE (Syndicat National des Entreprises de Sous-traitance).
Our regular regulatory watch means we are vigilant with regard to the applicable environmental directives and observe them.
Thanks to the awareness and training of our employees we can control our two most significant environmental impacts by recycling our waste and controlling our energy consumption.
When our customers’ products are in the design phase, we help them with recommendations to reduce their environmental impacts through an analysis of the life-cycle of their product.
Through its ISO 14001 certification obtained in 2008, GERAL UNIT 2 makes its own modest contribution and wishes to leave future members of the company this strong commitment to environmental respect.
